This session will provide an overview of features and enhancements that are part of our Version V8. New tools and features such as reporting writing, sketch, admin tools, sales analysis and GIS and much more will be demonstrated.

This session will give a nice overview of the sketch tools and showcase the new features within Vision 8 and highlight some of the most commonly used features. We’ll show you how to create new sketches, modify existing sketches, and manipulate subarea labels.

Impact of COVID-19
Case study on valuation during the pandemic; percentage change and impact; how we handle changing adjustments within Vision CAMA.

Vision’s integrated GIS / CAMA application is designed for the typical assessor for use throughout the various phases of a reassessment program. Using GIS for Neighborhood Delineation, Quality Control, Sales Verification, Mass Data Updates etc. have helped increase efficiencies for both our Appraisal Team as well as our Client base. This session will be complete with specific real-world examples and exercises for every phase.

Extracting data from the CAMA system is a key task in the operation of an Assessing Office. Whether creating an export file or a printed report, quick access to the CAMA data by the office staff and the entire jurisdiction is of paramount importance. This session will help you become more familiar with all aspects of the Vision tools available for creating and saving reports.

In this session our presenter will give an overview of the Property Record Card and how to use the card editor to customize the PRC for your specific community. The training will show you how to edit and adjust all fields.

The Admin Module & Configuration
In this session, we will dive deep into Admin utilities, from creating and establishing user groups and permission sets, to screen and grid configurations to accessing tables and switches and settings.
3:45pm – 4:30pm
In this session, we will cover all of the end-of-year Functions. At the end of each Fiscal Year you will need to run a save assessment and extract your data for billing and prepare your parcels for the next fiscal year.
This session will include the steps for saving your finalized values and where to find various year-end value reports to assist you in filling out your state total lists. We will also focus on the process of checking value discrepancies before running your billing extract.
How do I join the two-day Teleconference?
After registering for our two daily webinar sessions (Wed, April 28th and Thur, April 29th) you’ll receive confirmation email from Zoom with a unique link, phone number and meeting ID to join each day. You will also receive Zoom reminder emails one week, day, and hour before each webinar begins.
Do I have to call in, or can I use my computer to listen in?
In order to ensure that we’re able to offer the best audio quality possible attendees will be either to join with either option. You’ll have the opportunity to choose your audio preference at the start of each day’s webinar.
Is there any cost to attend?
Nope! Our annual National User Group is dedicated to providing additional training opportunities to our valued Vision clients and is already included in your annual maintenance and support package.
How many team members can register?
All of your team members and office personnel who you think would find our sessions useful are welcome to attend!
What if I can’t attend every session?
No problem! You are free to sign on or off each day’s webinar whenever you’d like. Don’t worry, you won’t be locked out if you’re late or want to take a break and sign back in later!
Will I be on video, and will other people be able to hear me?
Due to a large number of participants, you will not have your video activated during our two main webinar days, and will be muted during the Teleconference so everyone can hear our panelists and presenters. You may have the option to type questions into our chat module during the Teleconference depending on the session. You will have the opportunity to be on video while using your audio during our separate Breakout Room Networking Meeting on Wednesday.
What if my organization doesn’t allow us to download Zoom?
If you are unable to download zoom due to your organization’s security settings there will also be a link to start the session directly through your internet browser. If you do choose to use your browser we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome for the most reliable performance.
